We'd like you to meet the education Principals of the National College.
Alan Patching

The Principal of the National College of Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (Aust.) Alan Patching, is somewhat typical of NCHP-UK graduates in that he moved from a different career path into hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. His previous career was in project management of major projects, and even during this phase of his life he passionately pursued his interest in the science of human behaviour.
Alan's clinical practice is on the Gold Coast, and he is a Professional clinical member of the Australian Hypnotherapists' Association. His practise covers a wide range of client issues with an emphasis on two areas - factors (anxieties, phobias etc.) affecting performance in business and sport, and women's issues. In the latter arena he has developed his own hypnotherapy for birthing programme called Hypno Birth Rite, and has recently been appointed the Australian Regional Director of the world wide Hypno Fertility Foundation.
Credentials
Alan Patching holds the following hypnotherapy and psychotherapy qualifications:
Alan also has decades of general teaching experience both as a visiting lecturer of various universities (he still holds an adjunct professorship at Bond University's School of Business, Technology and Sustainable Development) and as an experienced presenter on the corporate professional speaking circuit where he lectures primarily on the Psychology of Leadership and on Emotional Intelligence in business.
He once represented Australia in professional public speaking.
Alan Patching is the author of five books, 12 e-books and several audio and video programs. Of interest to the field of Hypnotherapy is the book 'Imprints for Success' which he co-authored with Dr. Gerry Flynn.
